The INSEAD Olam International MBA Scholarships target meritorious candidates who are nationals of Sub-Saharan Africa, regardless of their current country of residence, but who are committed to working in their home country or region.

Scholarships will be awarded to two individuals per class and candidates for this scholarship will need to demonstrate: (a) outstanding academic achievement and promise (b) teamwork as well as personal ownership to deliver (c) leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit (d) a commitment to contributing to their country or region at the end of the course. The sponsoring organisation, Olam is a world-leading agribusiness operating from seed to shelf in 65 countries, supplying food and industrial raw materials to over 13,800 customers worldwide. Olam has operations in 24 countries on the continent right along the agri-supply chain. Only candidates admitted to INSEAD’s full-time MBA programme will be considered (December 16 and July 17 Classes). the value of the award is 65,800 EUR

How to Apply for the INSEAD Olam International MBA Scholarships
Complete your application and submit the required essay by the deadline. There are 3 application deadlines for July 2018 intake – 7 November 2016, 31 January 2017 and 27 February 2017 for the three rounds respectively. There are 3 application deadlines for December 2018 intake – 8 May 2017, 19 June 2017 and 17 July 2017 for the three rounds respectively. The guideline for the essay is as follows:
1).Describe in 500 words (a) why you wish to undertake the INSEAD MBA (b) How you envisage contributing to the future development of your country or region (c) Why you should be selected for the INSEAD Olam International MBA Scholarships for Change Catalysts in African Markets.
2).In 200 words, provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures). Explain how you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain this scholarship.
