The INSEAD Syngenta MBA Scholarships targets nationals who work and live in one of the African countries.

Scholarships will be awarded to two individuals per class and candidates for this scholarship will need to demonstrate: (a) outstanding academic achievement and promise (b) aptitude for business and financial management (c) leadership potential and (d) a commitment to contributing to their country or region at some point in the future. The sponsoring organisation, Syngenta is a world-leading agribusiness committed to sustainable agriculture through innovative research and technology. The company is a leader in crop protection, and ranks third in the high-value commercial seeds market
Beneficiaries will receive financial support up to the tune of €22,500. The allowance is a contribution towards the costs of tuition fees. Preference will be given to candidates who require proven financial assistance.

- you are a national of an emerging economy
- you have spent a substantial part of your life in the developing world, in education and/or professional experience.

How to Apply for the INSEAD Syngenta MBA Scholarships
Complete your application and submit the required essay by the deadline. There are 2 application deadlines for December 2017 intake – 19 April and 23 May 2016. The guideline for the essay is as follows:
1).In 200 words Briefly discuss the requirements for successful business leadership in your country today. Describe how you envisage contributing to the future development of your country after graduation and why you should be considered for this award.
2).In 450 words briefly discuss measures required for sustainable agriculture in your country/region in the context of urban and rural development. Focus on what you consider to be the most important element.
3).In 150-200 words provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD.
