Manchester Metropolitan University Vice-Chancellor Scholarships for International Students

The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is one of the many scholarship programs offered by the Manchester Metropolitan University (also recognised as Man Met, Manchester Met or by the acronym MMU). The scholarship covers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered in the university.

The Vice-Chancellor Scholarships is awarded by Manchester Met to students intending to pursue either a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the university. Candidates must be citizens of countries outside the European Union. The award is given based on merit. Students who demonstrate outstanding performance stand a good chance of receiving the scholarship.

The scholarship value is £5,000. Award value will be deducted directly from the students’ tuition fees. The scholarship is 0nly for the first year of academic study. The scholarship is applied to all taught undergraduate level and taught postgraduate level courses offered at Manchester Met.


You can apply for Manchester Metropolitan Vice-Chancellor Scholarship if you:

  • are an international student (classified as overseas)
  • have been offered a place on a taught course starting in September 2017 or January 2018
  • are not currently holding a scholarship at Manchester Met
  • have not defer your admission for the 2017/2018 academic year.
  • The scholarship award is limited to Undergraduate and Postgraduate taught course applicants only.
