The IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship is offered by The UCL Institute of Education, providing opportunities for students from developing countries to undergo a masters degree studies in University College London (UCL) for 2017/18. The deadline for application entry for this year is 10th April.

The IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship is intended for students who plan to work either in their home country, or another, to improve the lives of the disadvantaged, excluded or underachieving citizens. Therefore, applicants should be from low or lower-middle income countries.
All full-time master’s degree programmes offered at UCL Institute of Education are open for this scholarship. Online courses are not eligible for these scholarships. The number of scholarship entry is not specified but they would a couple of entries available.
The IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship will cover full tuition fees and 1-year accommodation at International Students House. The scholarships do not cover subsistence in London, students would have to provide for themselves in this regard. Nonetheless, the scholarship is generous and highly competitive.
Candidates wishing to apply for the IOE Centenary Masters Scholarship at UCL should:
- Be citizens and residents of a low or lower-middle income country (as per World Bank standard).
- Have an offer to study a full time masters degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2017 start).
- Not have studied or lived in the UK before.

Eligible candidates vying for this IOE Centenary scholarship will receive an email with a copy of the application form as long as they have received an offer to study at the UCL Institute of Education. The deadline to apply for these scholarships is Monday, 10 April 2017 (23:59 London time).
