David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship for Undergraduate Africans

The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship is an opportunity presented by David Oyedepo Foundation (DOF). The scholarship aims to provide opportunities for gifted and talented African students with proven superior academic abilities to pursue undergraduate programs in Nigeria.

The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship program is the major platform for promoting the vision and goals of the David Oyedepo Foundation. The program awards scholarships to qualified individuals who are citizens and residents of African countries, and have been offered admission to study selected courses in two top private universities in Nigeria – Landmark University and Covenant University.

The scholarship is aimed at giving individuals the opportunity to build their leadership potentials through the yearly programs and community development initiatives. The following fields of study are covered by the DOF scholarship:

1). Covenant University

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Information & Comm. Tech
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Applied Biology and Biotechnology
  • Microbiology
  • Computer Science

2). Landmark University

  • Animal Science
  • Soil Science
  • Crop Science
  • Agricultural And Biosystem Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical And Information Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Biochemistry
  • Microbiology
  • Computer Science

The DOF scholarship is for 4 or 5 years, this is subject to university stipulated time for course completion. The maximum duration of scholarship award is 5 years for undergraduate programs. All applicants are awarded full scholarship for the duration of their study. However, a yearly review of scholarship is carried out every year to ensure candidate remains worthy of scholarship award.


To apply for the DOF Scholarships program, candidates must:

  1. Be a national and resident of an African country
  2. Not be more than 23 years old at time of application
  3. Have secured admission to an approved Undergraduate course at Landmark or Covenant University
  4. Possess an internationally recognized high school diploma or its equivalent with superior academic record
  5. Have proficiency in oral and written English
  6. Be in good health

To apply for this scholarship, kindly visit the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program Application Portal. Complete and submit the online application form via the official application portal. It is recommended that you read the online instructions and refer to them while completing your application. Proof of Admission into Landmark University and Covenant University is required only at the point of Scholarship award. Hence scholarship applications can be submitted before course admission letters have been received.
