How to apply for the CIMO Doctoral Fellowships in Finland

There is no direct application for the CIMO Fellowship. If a Finnish university is willing to host you, then your programme’ department can apply to CIMO for the grant on your behalf. In other words, the hosting Finnish university acts as an ‘applicant’ for the Fellowship programme.

There are no annual application deadlines in the CIMO Fellowship programme. Applications may be considered at all times. However, please note that applications should be submitted at least 5 months before the intended scholarship period.

Visit the scholarship announcement page for further information on the scholarship. You can also visit the Finnish universities’ own websites for info on Doctoral level study and research options.
